01 Apr Join the FCS Spring Treasure Hunt
A self-guided family adventure April 16-30th!
Join us in this fun opportunity to get outside, celebrate Spring, and explore our great community!
Hunt for “gems” at the locations on our treasure map and win prizes!
- Follow the map to each of the special locations in the Freeport-Pownal area.
- Record the gem symbol you find at each location in the boxes. (Look for a small laminated poster in an obvious place.)
- Submit your completed form by May 5th to FCS by mail, or drop it off in the Treasure Chest at the front door of FCS M-F from 9-5, Saturdays 10-3.
Prizes
Every participant will receive a coupon for a single scoop or soft serve cone from Desrosier’s, and will be entered into a raffle.
Raffle prizes include:
- Four activity toy kits for kids
- Two $25 Thrift Store gift certificates
- A $30 LL Bean activity gift certificate
Bonus: The first 60 families to bring in their treasure maps will receive a kite.

Winners will be announced by May 7th on Facebook and Instagram, and will be contacted by FCS to coordinate prize pickup.
We hope you have fun exploring some hidden and not-so-hidden spots and celebrating the return of Spring! Once you’ve found and recorded the gem on your form, spend as much time as you want checking out the site.
