Join us for a balance exercise series hosted by Noreen Delorey, PT, from the Maine Strong Balance Centers on Thursdays at 10 am in the Bradley Room.
This free, 4-class series includes evidence-based education and balance exercise. Participants will learn about the anatomy and physiology of balance, personal and environmental factors that indicate fall risk, and how to utilize exercise to reduce fall risk. Noreen will lead an engaging exercise class–please bring water, good exercise shoes, and enthusiasm!
Prerequisite: To ensure safety within a group exercise setting, this class is designated for those who consistently walk WITHOUT an assistive device (i.e. walker or cane) and have NOT fallen in the past 6 months.
