23 Oct FCS Annual Meeting and Annual Report
On Monday, October 25th, Freeport Community Services’ staff and Board of Directors gathered for our virtual Annual Meeting. Jim DeGrandpre presided over the meeting as he passed the torch of the presidency to Liza Moore for 2022. Jen Panciocco was elected as First Vice President. We celebrated long-time Board Member and past president Pat Palmer. New Board Members Edrol Sandy, Dean Paterson, and Gary Goodrich were welcomed. Regina Kusche and Robin Harriman were recognized for the longevity of their service to FCS, 5 and 15 years respectively.
Johanna Hanselman was given the Carol Kaplan Award for her many years of service as Freeport’s General Assistance Administrator. We thank her for her many years of service and her deep impact on the lives and families of those in Freeport. Catrina Milliman and Tegan Milligan-Barber were given the Community Award for their amazing contribution to FCS, specifically to the success of this year’s Freeze Out Campaign.
The Annual Meeting was a wonderful moment to pause and take stock of all the challenges surmounted , of all the opportunities gained, and all the warmth and genuine commitment that makes Freeport Community Services such a uniquely special organization.
