01 Aug Farmers Provide Fresh Produce to Food Pantry

Our Food Pantry has been popping with fresh produce this summer, thanks to all those who are contributing, from farmers and gardeners, to donors.
Growing to Give and Wolfe’s Neck Center are making weekly deliveries, as are many local folks like Kathy, pictured, Steve Brown and many more.
Our food donation partner Royal River Natural Foods purchased a farm share from Wolfe’s Neck, as did HM Payson. Tripping Gnome is another farm that is helping keep us stocked up.
Thank you to all who are contributing and distributing nutrition to our community! Thanks to all the volunteers who make the pantry operate at its best!
Our Food Pantry is open to all residents of Freeport, Pownal and Durham. Hours are: Mon. 11-3, Tues. 9:30-11:30 and Wed. 11-1:30.
Anyone interested in donating fresh produce as well as other food items, diapers, soap or pet food can drop them by the loading dock during those hours as well.
