Freeze Out 2019

FCS is proud to host its 16th annual Freeze Out Event Feb. 22!

FCS staff, board members and volunteers and area business teams are outside in various locations in Freeport, raising awareness about food and heating insecurity issues, and the critical need for services for the most vulnerable residents of Freeport and Pownal. They collect non-perishable food and personal care items, as well as financial gifts, during this event. Donation boxes are also placed at a variety of businesses and organizations. Proceeds support vital programs for Freeport and Pownal residents, such as the food pantry, fuel assistance, and emergency services.
