Course Descripton
It is painful to even consider the loss of our loved ones, as it is distressing to think of our own demise. Yet, with the meteoric advances in life-extending technologies, it appears we believe that preventing the ultimate end is possible. However, death continues to come to both the young and the old and occurs daily in the most advanced healthcare organizations, as COVID-19 has so devastating demonstrated. The desire to control our final destiny requires knowledge of what is to come. We must articulate our final wishes and ensure that when we are unable to self-advocate, others respectfully speak on our behalf. Come on a journey of understanding beginning with understanding our responsibility to ourselves, our loved ones and society in general. This class series will provide the learner with the knowledge, skills and the necessary tools to document our final decisions. Get your questions answered and share your thoughts and concerns with others.
