Join us for Age-Friendly Freeport & Pownal’s next Lunch & Learn to hear from the experts about Long-Term Care. April 2 at 12pm in the Bradley Room. Please register in advance.
Our presenter will be Danielle Malcolm, Home Care Program Manager for the Maine Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program (LTCOP), a resource to help you navigate home care services.
Some questions the presenter will address:
- How to choose a nursing home or assisted living center for yourself or a loved one.
- What to do if you’re not satisfied with the home care you’re receiving.
- What home care services are available in Maine and who provides them?
- What if you need financial assistance to pay for your home health care needs?
