Mosaic Art Class Now Full

In this four-week mosaic class, you will learn the art of glass-on-glass mosaics! 

Your class starts with a quick introduction to contemporary mosaic art. Next, you’ll be introduced to basic glass cutting tools, proper (non-toxic) adhesives, be shown how to properly handle and cut glass, and finally how to use your knowledge to create a wonderful 5″x 7″ birch tree mosaic window scene.

By the end of your four weeks, your new found love of glass art, and confidence in your new skills, will move you forward to create many more successful stained glass mosaic art projects!

• 4 sessions on Thursdays starting September 14
• Meets 4-5:30 pm
• Classes will take place at Porters Landing Guesthouse & Art Studio, 77 South St., Freeport, ME

Amanda Edwards will be leading this class. Amanda has been creating and teaching mosaic art for almost 20 years. She has created many public art pieces, including a five-story mosaic mural for Boston Children’s Hospital.
