Qigong is a mind-body practice that improves one’s mental and physical health by integrating postures, movement, breathing techniques, and focused intention. Hun Yuan Gong is part of the Xinyi Hunyuan Taijiquan system founded by Grandmaster Feng Zhiqiang. This modern system of Taiji and Qigong was created by Grandmaster Feng from the Taoist internal cultivation methods taught by Hu Yaozhen and the Chen style Taiji Quan taught by Chen Fake.
Dr. Holmes received her Hun Yuan Taiji and Qigong training at the Taoist Studies Institute in Seattle, WA under the tutelage of Master Harrison Moretz (Mo Zhicheng), a direct disciple of Master Feng, Shoko Zama, a student of both Madam Gao Fu and Master Feng, and Joseph Pao, a disciple of Master Moretz. Dr. Holmes has been practicing Taiji and Qigong for over nine years.
