04 Nov Virtual Annual Meeting a Success
On October 26th, Freeport Community Services held its first virtual annual meeting. While we missed gathering in person, we were happy to have a time to reflect on our year together.
Recognizing valued Board and community members
Former Board President Sharon Foerster recognized Valerie Geredien, John Donnelly, and Marc Miller. These outgoing members of the Board of Directors were thanked for their many years of dedicated service to FCS. Their contributions were so instrumental in FCS’ continuing success. Foerster went on to welcome her successor, Jim DeGrandpre, as the next President of the Board of Directors.
This year’s Carol Kaplan Award was given to long-time volunteer Chris O’Neil. And, FCS was proud to recognize Midcoast Federal Credit Union for Service to Community.
Finally, three staff members were recognized with longevity awards. Kim Hudak was recognized for 18 years of service, Robin Harriman for 14 years, and Sarah Lundin for 5 years.
