There are wonderful things happening at FCS as we begin to emerge from our pandemic operations. On the top of that list is the hiring of new staff positions.

Cathy Cryvoff, Age Friendly Freeport and Pownal Coordinator

Cathy is an end-of-life doula and personal support specialist, providing in-home care to aging-in-place seniors. She is excited to broaden her reach and facilitate services to our Freeport and Pownal communities. With the AFFP steering committee, Cathy will work with partners and organizations within the Freeport & Pownal community to make Freeport and Pownal a more livable community and help people to safely age-in-place in their homes. Cathy will also explore opportunities for social inclusion of our older population.

While from away, Cathy has called Freeport home for 15 years, raising her children and launching two into the world (and counting). Cathy is available Tuesdays and Thursdays at FCS.

Andy Wyatt, Food Programs Supervisor

Andy Wyatt, Food Programs Supervisor

A stalwart volunteer, Andy had been doing grocery pick up after having been introduced to Debbie Daggett roughly two years ago. He stays connected with residents of Freeport & Pownal who need help with things like mowing grass. Andy comes to FCS already familiar with the pantry and is excited about getting to know all our programs in greater depth. He’ll be doing the day-to-day work with the pantry and volunteers for programs including summer lunch and BackPack program.
