Celebration of Life for Vaughndella Curtis

On Saturday, May 31, at 11:00 a.m., gather at South Freeport Church to celebrate the life of Vaughndella Curtis, a beloved member of the Freeport community and one of the founding mothers of Freeport Community Services.

Vaughndella passed away on May 10 at the age of 92. She touched so many lives through her kindness, wisdom, and tireless dedication to others. She gave freely of herself to this town and helped shape the spirit of community that continues today.

One of Vaughndella’s wishes was that everyone come together to share a meal in the community hall at the South Freeport Church. If you plan to attend, you are warmly encouraged to bring a dish to share.
