FCS Community Center

Community Center Phased Reopening Plan

The health and safety of our entire community is our greatest priority. We have been proactive about our strategies for responding to the impact this global pandemic is having in our community. As we begin the process of reopening our center, we are aware that things will be quite different from how they once were.

In Phase One of our plan to reopen, services like our Food Pantry will continue being accessed through the twice a week distribution of packed food in the main parking lot. While the community center itself will remain closed, our Thrift Shop will open beginning June 12th with limited hours for shopping only. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept donations at this time. Please refer to the details below.

We greatly appreciate your support, patience, and understanding as we navigate this process of resuming activities while ensuring the safety of our staff and community. These guidelines will be revisited at the end of June.

Volunteers:

  • We are asking all FCS volunteers to not yet return to the Center.
  • Staff will continue to provide essential services.

Operations:

THRIFT SHOP HOURS FOR SHOPPING: Tuesdays and Fridays, 12:00pm-5:00pm, beginning June 12th.

  • All visitors to our store are required to wear face coverings while shopping and to cleanse their hands with provided hand sanitizer upon entering the building.
  • Donations:

Donations resume 6/19/20: see new donation times and guidelines HERE

  • Please do not leave donations by the main entrance, dumpster, or food pantry loading dock.
