This 4-class series is led by Noreen Delorey, PT from Maine Strong Balance Centers. The class includes evidence-based education and balance exercise. Learn about the anatomy and physiology of balance, personal and environmental factors that lead to falls, and how to use exercise to reduce risk. Please bring a water bottle, sneakers, and your enthusiasm!
Classes begin Thursday, October 30, and will until Wednesday, December 3 (rescheduled from Nov. 20) from 2-3 p.m. in the Bradley Room at FCS. Please note: To ensure safety, this class is designated for those who consistently walk WITHOUT an assistive device (i.e. walker or cane) and have NOT fallen in the past 6 months.
