In collaboration with the Town of Freeport, FCS will administer the town’s General Assistance program starting September 1st.
Anyone wishing to apply for General Assistance may schedule an appointment by calling 865-3985 x 205
Appointments are available at FCS
53 Depot Street, Freeport
Monday – Thursday 8 am – 4 pm
In an emergency, applicants may contact the Freeport Police Department at 865-4800
For questions regarding the General Assistance program, contact the Department of Human Services at 1-800-442-6003
