Free Virtual Screening of LIKE & Panel Discussion

March 16th at 6:30

LIKE is an IndieFlix Original documentary that explores the impact of social media on youth and the effects of technology on the brain. The goal of the film is to inspire and help equip us to self-regulate. Social media is a tool and social platforms are a place to connect, share, and care. But, is that what’s really happening? And, how does social media create or exacerbate anxiety, stress, and depression?

A panel discussion will follow the film with Dr. Laura Blaisdell, Vice President of the Maine Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Amy Buczkowski a hospital-based pediatrician and board member of the Maine American Academy of Pediatrics, and Phyllis Latham, M.S., RSU5 schools guidance counselor and Casco Bay CAN Steering Committee Chairperson.

Freeport Community Services is proud to partner with Freeport Middle School, Casco Bay CAN, and The Bradley Family Foundation to bring this film and panel discussion to our community.
