Join the Freeport Maine Alzheimer’s Association Support Group. Designed for caregivers, meetings begin Thursday, November 13 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Freeport Community Center lower floor conference room.
Support groups create a safe, confidential, welcoming community and a chance for participants to develop informal, mutual support and social relationships. Participants learn more about dementia while also developing methods and skills to solve problems. This caregiver support group is open to anyone who has a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or another type of dementia.
